For speech-language pathologists
A trusted partner for your AAC clients
We work alongside SLPs to make the device acquisition process smooth, fast, and frustration-free — so you can focus on therapy, not paperwork.
Why SLPs refer to A4KGo
We handle the funding process
From letters of medical necessity to insurance appeals, our dedicated funding team manages every step of the authorization process — saving you and your clients hours of administrative work.
We support your clinical decisions
You know your client. We support your recommendations — not override them. We carry a wide range of devices and software so we can fulfill whatever you prescribe.
We configure devices to your specs
Once a device is approved, we set it up according to your clinical recommendations — vocabulary system, access method, interface layout, and voice settings.
We provide family training
We train families on device use so they can support carryover at home, reducing the burden on your therapy sessions and improving outcomes.
We offer ongoing support
Repairs, replacements, software updates, and re-evaluations — we handle the device lifecycle so your clients always have a working communication tool.
We move quickly
We know delays in device access affect your clients' progress. We prioritize fast turnaround on evaluations, authorizations, and delivery.
How the referral process works
Simple, collaborative, and built around your workflow.
You refer a client
Send us a referral by phone, email, or our online form. Include basic client information and your preliminary device recommendation if you have one.
We coordinate the evaluation
We work with you to schedule and complete the AAC evaluation — either collaborating with you directly or connecting the client with an SLP in our network if needed.
We manage insurance & funding
Our funding team handles prior authorizations, letters of medical necessity, and any appeals. We keep you informed and request clinical documentation as needed.
Device is configured & delivered
We configure the device to your clinical specifications and deliver it to the family with full setup and training — and a copy of the configuration for your records.
