We believe every child deserves to be heard
A4KGo is a family-run Oregon business built on decades of experience in special education and high-tech systems. We exist to make sure no child waits too long for the communication tools they need.
Our story
Oregon roots. Family heart. High-tech expertise.
Our founders spent decades in Oregon's schools and early intervention programs — in the room with children who couldn't yet speak for themselves. We watched kids labeled "difficult" light up the moment they had a reliable way to communicate. That transformation never got old.
We saw firsthand how early AAC accelerates everything: speech and language acquisition, social connection, academic engagement. But we also saw how often that window was missed — not because families didn't care, but because no one was bridging the gap between the therapy room and the home.
That's what A4KGo is built to do. We connect the clinical side — SLP evaluations, device selection, insurance navigation — with hands-on family coaching so parents and caregivers become confident communication partners at home, not just observers. Then we lean on our deep network across Oregon's school districts and early intervention programs to make sure support continues everywhere the child is.

Our mission
Communication access for every child, without the runaround
AAC devices are life-changing — but the path to getting one is often overwhelming. Insurance paperwork, prior authorizations, SLP evaluations, school district negotiations: families shouldn't have to navigate all of that alone while also caring for a child with complex communication needs.
A4KGo exists to remove those barriers. We combine clinical expertise with deep knowledge of insurance systems, funding pathways, and device technology to get children the tools they need — faster, with less stress, and at little or no cost to families.
